Although strictly a 19th Century refinement of lemon custard, this pud has been in and out of fashion since the 17th Century, most recently as a 1970’s staple of the suburban dinner party. Fortunately it has once again found favour and is making yet another comeback to the British dining room. As you should expect, this is our very chocolately and subtle interpretation of a pudding which is crying out for chocolate!
