With its 5 series, BMW has offered successful car models for years that have fascinated many thousands of BMW drivers worldwide. The Gran Turismo (F07) was fitted with a level control as standard for the first time between 2009 and 2013. This applies to the same extent for the BMW 5 Series Touring (F11), which was also offered from 2010 to 2013 in series with an air suspension on the rear axle. BMW thus met the high demands of all customers who rightly expected driving comfort and safety. Our ready-to-install AEROSUS air supply system replaces the original BMW air supply system in these vehicles one to one. The delivery of the air supply system includes the 5-pin shunt relay, double valve, the compressor bracket.
The heart of the air suspension comes from AEROSUS
The best air suspension system is worth nothing without a compressor. It supplies the system with compressed air and regulates the air supply according to the driver settings. Of course, when our compressor is installed, the selectability of the driving modes remains unaffected. Switch between sport and comfort whenever you want. For the 5-series GT F07 and Touring F11 models built after 2013, a different compressor for level control is required. BMW revised the vehicles, and newer models are also called LCI for facelift.
Parts and installation
The AEROSUS compressor consists of three components: pressure housing, electric motor and air dryer unit. The supplied 5-PIN work basis must be replaced by you in any case. If there is no exchange, the 2-year warranty expires. The reason for this is that relay faults are a common cause of compressor damage. You will find the relay in the spare wheel well in the trunk of your BMW 5 Series. In the middle under the stern, near the bumper, you will find the compressor.
Leak is the problem
If the level control is defective or the level control has failed, the air springs are usually leaky. The vehicle lowers on the rear axle overnight or is crooked. If the compressor has a runtime error, it takes too long for the vehicle level to change. The level control does not pump up or the compressor runs too long. The compressor no longer manages to provide the compressed air system with sufficient compressed air. The vehicle lowers on one side at the rear and is no longer able to change the height of the level. You lose stability, safety and driving comfort.
In this case, use our AEROSUS compressor, which is built in a compact and modular design. The spare part offers maximum stability, safety and durability and replaces the original compressor from BMW without loss of performance and quality.
High quality standards
Expert control in Germany is a matter of course for us. We have our own teams dedicated exclusively to the quality control of our products. Discover for yourself what we mean by good quality. If you are not satisfied, you are free to take advantage of the 30-day money-back guarantee.
With a modular design, our compressor is very robust. The susceptibility to errors is reduced to a minimum. If you have removed the old compressor and installed the spare part successfully, we advise you to carry out an overall check of the compressed air system. Make sure that no leaks affect the operation of the air suspension system. This will prevent future damage to your BMW 5 Series.
Our air suspension compressor for the 5 series BWM series F07 and F11 meets high demands and works reliably and safely when supplying compressed air to the air suspension of your vehicle.
